The Brief
The client was keen to retain as much lawn as possible whilst also introducing colour and interest in the garden. She wanted to place a summerhouse in the bottom corner and use trees to block out a development beyond the garden.
The criss-cross design makes the most of the lawn whilst also providing pockets for planting and seating. The corner pergola provides a unique focal point and the Clematis certainly drapes over it with grace and elegance. Shrubs and grasses conceal the fence whilst new tree planting provides privacy.
