Case study
The Brief
Design completed as part of an architect led extension in York. This space started off as a building site! Look at the slideshow below to see it now.
The client had one firm request - she wanted the garden to look bigger! We used a circular lawn design with windy paths to give an illusion of depth. She was also overlooked so we designed a pergola which could be hung with drapes to provide privacy. We then placed attractive planting to draw the eye downward and across the imposing wall at the rear.

What the client said
The client was so happy with her new garden and the development of the planting scheme. We agreed that the garden had more than met the brief. It looked very roomy!
